AUGIS (Association of Upper-Gastrointestinal Surgeons) - website development and content management
Headline Media is employed as website editor for this high profile website (www.augis.org) which brings together world-class surgeons globally. The website is used as a tool to raise the profile of the organisation, bring together the various people involved in upper-gastrointestinal work and increase membership, promote the organisation's annual scientific meeting and promote clinical audits and fellowships which are available tomembers. The project has been in two parts, firstly to develop a new, modern website to replace a previous outdated and unwieldy site and, secondly, to provide continuing support for the website in terms of furtherdevelopment and new content. After consulting with key members of AUGIS council and professional staff, a new website was commissioned, developed and launched. Since then, new content and sections have been added and Headline Media is responsible for keeping the website up to date and adding new content. This has included creating a new section for allied health professionals and a blog.
